The War & Peace Show
The War & Peace show has been a regular feature of the Hop Farm near Paddock Wood in Kent for 20 years or so now. Today it is the largest annual gathering of private military vehicles anywhere in the world. Regular numbers of over 3000 vehicle come along, from all over Europe, and from small Jeeps to MBTs. The roads of Kent resound to the noise of Jeeps and GMCs, just as they did all those years ago. Lasting 5 days it covers a vast area and you can still not manage to see everything. Simply the show to go to if you like military vehicles. You can even buy one!
There is just no substitute for visiting the real battlefields of WW2 in Europe if you have an opportunity to do so.
