Tamiya
Tamiya is among the best known names for plstic armour models. The biggest range is in 1/35, but a growing on ein 1/48, and others over the years in 1/24 and 1/16. At the top of the range are radio control models, complete with engine sounds in some cases. The 1/35 range is amongst the best in the world, though they are challenged byt the quality of the current Dragon ranges. Still, some very fine models with a deserved reputation for quality. Of course there are ships, trucks, racing cars, racing bikes and even dinosaurs if you want to try anything difference! Add a range of paints, modelling accesories, and recently some sets of weathering powders which I have found to be very good indeed.
There is just no substitute for visiting the real battlefields of WW2 in Europe if you have an opportunity to do so.
