MMS
MMS is a large range of 1/76 metal models from the hands of Barry Walby. It started from a series of resin wargames models in the 1970s, called Militmen, then a break before 1/72 metal models of modern Soviet Equipment appeared (now gone) before MMS settled into producing 1/76 WW2 models, a range which has grown steadily ever since. In terms of metal models, I believe these are about the best metal cast models you can find, with good detail/dimensions in the basic models, and high quality metal castings. Assembly instructions are always provided and they go together well. The ain "Classic" range is supported by a "Restricted" range, which features variants from the Classic range (e.g. Classic version may have a winch, the Restricted version will be without it). Then series of Gun Paks for artillery pieces, Accessory Paks with ammo boxes, small arms etc and Figure Paks with, well... figures.
There is just no substitute for visiting the real battlefields of WW2 in Europe if you have an opportunity to do so.
