Dragon
These days it is hard to know what to say about Dragon. From the early days when they were the first to do kits in 1/35 of the likes of T72 and BMP2, they have grown to a huge extent, and added bot 1/72nd and 1/144th models to their ranges, along with ships, aircraft, ready made models and more. The standars they are setting, and quality of their models has raised the whole hobby several notches and has to be applauded. Like everyone they have had the odd error, but were one of the first major kit manufacturer to go back and fix the moulds to resolve problesm when they have been identified. Shermans, Hummers, T34s, all in multiple variants, exactly what modellers cried out for producers to do for years. Great stuff!
There is just no substitute for visiting the real battlefields of WW2 in Europe if you have an opportunity to do so.
