AFV Club make a series of 1/35 (and a couple of 1/48) kits of AFVs and artillery. These are really excellent models and well worth looking out for. No one else does an LVTP 5 or the Australian version of the Centurion, as used in Vietnam by Australian forces. Very well detailed models, and a pleasure to work on. Though I've never taken a close look at any, they also do a series of resin models with figures, addtional detail parts, under the brand name of 'Hobby Fan'.

There is just no substitute for visiting the real battlefields of WW2 in Europe if you have an opportunity to do so.
